Sustainability Report 2025

Building on four years of commitment — with clearer targets, stronger data, and a circular model at the core of everything we do.

Renta Group publishes its fourth annual sustainability report, covering the financial year 2025. Each year, this report reflects our commitment to transparency — honest about the progress we’ve made and the work still ahead. This year marks a significant step forward: from building foundations to setting clear, measurable long-term commitments.

From commitment to accountability

In 2025, we established our first Group-wide greenhouse gas baseline and set new climate targets aligned with our fleet strategy, digital development, and operational efficiency. We strengthened our reporting processes in preparation for CSRD and reached a key telematics milestone that fundamentally improves how we track and act on emissions data — both for Renta and for our customers.

Among this year’s highlights:

  • We set new climate targets: a 20% reduction in CO₂ emission intensity by 2030 and 40% by 2040, alongside increasing green electricity to above 95% by 2030.
  • We reached 80% fleet telematics coverage, enabling more accurate emissions tracking and real-time CO₂ visibility for customers via Renta Easy.
  • Our LTIFR improved to 7.15— below our target of <8 — and safety observations tripled to 4,150, reflecting a stronger safety culture across all segments.
  • Renewable energy accounted for approximately 63% of total energy consumption in our own operations.
  • We updated our double materiality assessment and strengthened governance structures in preparation for CSRD.
  • We investigated 100% of whistleblowing reports received, reinforcing our commitment to ethical business conduct

As a rental company, our business model is inherently circular — enabling shared use of equipment increases utilisation, extends product lifecycles, and reduces unnecessary resource consumption across the construction value chain. Sustainability is not a separate agenda for us; it is embedded in how we operate, invest and create value.

“In 2025, we moved from building foundations to setting clearer long-term commitments. We now have the baseline, the targets and the digital tools to translate ambition into measurable impact. I am proud of the progress made — and confident that our circular model and strong local presence will continue to differentiate Renta as the most sustainable partner in our industry.”
