Sustainability Report 2024

Continuing our progress and sharpening our focus on sustainable value creation across the Group

Renta Group presents its third annual sustainability report for the financial year 2024, highlighting the milestones, challenges, and future direction of our sustainability journey.

An evolving journey with clearer targets and stronger tools

In 2024, we continued embedding our ESG strategy across the Group. From enhancing supplier assessments and chemical management to implementing ISO certifications and improving CO data transparency, we are taking meaningful steps to make sustainability a fully integrated part of our operations.

Among this year’s highlights:

  • We updated our double materiality assessment to align with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and ESRS standards.
  • We expanded Scope 3 emissions coverage, using telematics and CAN-BUS technology to help both Renta and our customers understand their climate impact.
  • A supplier evaluation model, including a questionnaire and on-site audits, was rolled out to identify development areas in our supply chain.
  • We maintained focus on safety and wellbeing, launching the first Group-wide employee survey and taking concrete steps to strengthen occupational safety across all markets.
  • Our ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification efforts progressed, with over 59% of depots certified in each standard.
  • We increased our Taxonomy-aligned turnover to 28.1%, underlining our growing alignment with the EU’s sustainability classification system.

We are committed to refining our processes, expanding the quality of our data, and collaborating openly with stakeholders. As the regulatory landscape evolves and expectations rise, we see both the urgency and opportunity in being a transparent and responsible business.
